Texas Tech 2006
Over the last few year games I haven’t been very good luck to Texas Tech Football. I’ve been to four games this year:
Texas Tech vs. TCU… lost.
Texas Tech vs. UT… lost.
Texas Tech vs. OU… lost.
I was actually having flash backs of the UT game while attending this one, because TTU failed to score any points in the second half. ZERO, again! I give their opponents credit for stepping up their play, but that’s a bit pathetic for Tech.
Texas Tech vs OSU… Won.
I was starting to think I should stop going to games. After the Tech win against Oklahoma State I realized that I haven’t attended a winning game in over 3 years. A lot of that has to do with the fact that I was unable to attend any games last year because of my father’s declining health. It was good to see the Texas Tech Red Raiders pull off a win in my presence. I will say I still need to bring Tums to the games. The fourth quarter performances by Texas Tech are going to give me an ulcer, especially after this last game. You can tell that Graham Harrell is a young quarterback. He’s still learning how to control the game clock during the final minutes of play. I look forward to a few more years of watching Harrell march TTU into the endzone. I can’t remember the last time someone as young as he started for Tech, and that’s a good thing.
