Ready for some new concept cars? There are few exciting one’s out there. Here are my pics of the Dallas Auto Show: Cars
Some of the new autos worth noting are the Dodge Challenger Concept, the Chevy Camaro Concept and the Toyota SUV Concept. One thing that I found very ironic was the placement of the sections. The Japanese and foreign cars were placed in the back corner. And one might think with all the selling Toyota seems to be doing they would have an elaborate presentation at the show. No, that was left to Ford and GM. Also noted was the fact that Ford was front and center when you walked in to the Dallas Convention Center. Coincidence? I think not. This just goes to show it’s not how you look to the consumer. It’s how well you make cars which is evident in the buying power of the consumer. Ford and GM might want to think less about how they can change their public image through advertising and more about building cars of quality. Toyota is getting the best of both worlds. They are selling more cars and spending less on advertising. Build a better cars guys and you can do that too.
